Five large mine cut diamonds grace the central axis of this elegant pin in addition to generous accent diamonds. The fine, white stones are transitional European and cushion shapes with culets. Gem material of this period (late 1920s-early 1930s), tended to be deep and very clean in nature. All appear original to the brooch, which is very rare as so many have been replaced with latter, more modern cuts. Expert milgraining and engraving techniques were used throughout this important piece of fine estate jewelry. Contains approximately 5.25 carats of diamonds twt.
